Maharana Pratap’s Chetak in disguise of an elephant.
But why?

War is an expensive affair. At that time, to have war elephants in troop, was a strategical advantage. But Maharana Pratap couldn’t have that luxury. So, he did something exceptional. He asked craftsman to create an armor which should look like a trunk from front side.
This helped Maharana Pratap in 2 important aspects:
1) When seen in field, war elephants from opponent side used to assume the horse as baby elephant. In spite of open an attack; they used to protect Chetak.
2) This confusion gives Maharana Pratap a much-needed time to break-in to the initial barricades of army lines.
Wars are not won by bravery alone.
What can we learn from it?
1) Be creative, instead of crying/complaining about lack of resources.
2) Adaptability & strategy are the assets for a leader.
This armor is still kept in display at Udaipur Museum.
